Asian Development Bank

The Asian Development Bank is an international development finance institution established in 1966 to foster economic growth and economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region and contribute to the economic development of developing countries.

The ADB Innovation Hub launched in October 2021 aims to foster a culture to drive innovation within ADB, and design innovative solutions with developing member countries to address complex development challenges.

The High-Level Technology Fund was established in 2017 to provide grant financing for promoting the integration of high-level technology and innovative solutions into ADB projects addressing development challenges. It is a multi-donor fund administered by ADB. The Government of Japan is the first donor to the fund.

IIT Bombay

IIT Bombay, the second of its kind in India, was established in 1958. In 1961, Parliament decreed that the IITs should be ‘Institutes of National Importance.' The institute is recognized worldwide as a leader in the field of engineering education and research. 

Prof. Avijit Maji, Professor of the Civil Engineering Department at IIT Bombay, is the Lead Collaborator and Principal Investigator of the TUTEM Project. 

BITS Pilani Hyderabad 

BITS Pilani is one of India’s leading higher education research institutes in Engineering and Technology. Established in 1929 as a college, BITS Pilani grew in size and significance, becoming a University in 1964 and, ultimately recognized in 2018 as one of the six important Institutes of Eminence by the Government of India.

Prof. Prasanta Sahu, Associate Professor of the Civil Engineering Department at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus, is the Coordinating Collaborator and Principal Investigator of the TUTEM Project. 

IIT Kharagpur

IIT Kharagpur is a public technical and research university established by the government of India in 1951. It is the first of the IITs to be established and is recognized as an Institute of National Importance. In 2019, the Indian government recognized it as the Institute of Eminence.

Prof. Arkopal Goswami, Associate Professor of the Ranbir & Chitra Gupta School of Infrastructure Design and Management at IIT Kharagpur, is the Collaborator and Principal Investigator of the TUTEM Project. 

Prof. Shreyas Bharule, Assistant Professor of the Department of Architecture and Regional Planning at IIT Kharagpur is the Community Planning Lead and Joint-Principal Investigator of the TUTEM Project. 

LocationMind Inc.

LocationMind Inc. is a start-up spin-off of the University of Tokyo, Japan. They specialize in geo-spatial analysis and location big data and provide solutions by turning information into meaningful insights to support the decision-making process.

The LocationMind team is a collaborator and international consultant for the TUTEM Project.
